Your son or daughter has already begun packing boxes and is thinking about all the new ideas and adventures to be explored and pursued, and all the new friendships and romances that lie in the future. You’ve already begun losing sleep at the thought of your child heading off to study in Canada.
Take a deep breath. You can always keep in touch with them through written correspondence, phone calls, e-mail and Web chat – or even paying a visit to the new international student in the family.
